“Where do I go for help?”

“Is that Counselor and/or organization biblical?”

The Addiction Connection (TAC) consists of a national leadership team actively involved in addiction counseling with a genuine, biblical approach. Our team consists of certified counselors, pastors, teachers, executive directors, and leading women who work in the area of addictions. TAC leadership provides you with answers to the two questions above: “Where do I go for help?” and “Is that Counselor and/or Organization biblical?”

The leadership team’s evaluation of churches with programs for addicts, stand-alone organizations providing services for addicts, and individual counselors is based upon the feedback THEY provide us. In other words, TAC acquires information from the individuals, programs, and churches themselves. That information is then reviewed and evaluated by multiple leaders to provide you with a score called the “Word Connection Rating,” or WCR. This 1 to 10 rating system enables you to make a more informed decision about the counselor, program, and church you would like to contact regarding biblical addiction counseling.

Because we want to see people set free with the truth that transforms the heart by the power of the Holy Spirit, we provide the WCR as a helpful tool to you in your search to find genuinely biblical help. We believe that connecting the hope of the Gospel with the heart of addiction is vital to transformation.

The individuals listed below have received biblical counselor TRAINING specifically in the area of addictions and subsequently achieved COMMISSIONING through The Addiction Connection (CTAC). These individuals have demonstrated a biblical standard for addiction counseling that is based upon the sufficiency of Scripture. They point hurting souls to Christ for hope.

The programs and churches offering hope and help to addicts listed in the second grouping below have submitted their information to the leadership team, completed the evaluation process, and have received their Word Connection Rating (WCR) which is provided accordingly.

It is important to know what words and methods counselors utilize. Words and methods either point “addicts” TO Christ, or AWAY from Christ.
