The Body of Christ Working Together

The Word of God and the Holy Spirit are sufficient  (Heb. 4:12, 2 Tim. 3:16-17) to address issues of the heart…

and God desires to glorify His name in using us, his willing vessels, to proclaim Him alone, and His truth in love. The whole Body of Christ works together to fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-21.

In Acts 4:11-12, (ESV) Peter finished his public proclamation that there is only One True higher power providing newness of life:

“…This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

The leadership team of The Addiction Connection seeks to see people transformed by the grace and power of Christ alone. We believe every “common man” is whom God desires to use to advance His Kingdom for His glory alone. What occurred in Acts 4:13-14, (ESV) compels us in our mission:

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus. But seeing the man who was healed standing beside them, they had nothing to say in opposition.”

Our desire is for God to transform lives by the power of the Holy Spirit working with the ultimate source book, the Bible, through all of us in the Body of Christ, working together as Christ intended (Eph. 4:11-16, 1 Cor. 12:12-27).
