Gal. 6:1a: “Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness.“**
At Truth in Love, one aspect that pleases me so much is that our biblical counselors strive to help others in a spirit of gentleness. We understand that hurting souls, some in excruciating emotional pain, are sitting before us crying out for help.
We also understand that we could be in the exact condition of our counselees except for the grace of God. In fact, some of us have been in that same condition not long ago and the grace of God has pulled us out!!
We have humble servants volunteering for us and they treat others with a mindset of gentleness. Our Savior, when He walked the earth, was gentle with others. Even the woman caught in adultery in John 8 received gentle treatment from Him! We are to model Jesus, especially in our biblical counseling sessions.
