“Don’t trade our love for tea and sympathy” are the lyrics to a song by the Christian group: Jars of Clay. I love that song because it applies to this topic of real hope vs. just coping with your problems (Rom. 12:1-2).

God has given us answers for our relationship with Him, our marriages, families, and emotional problems like rage, fear, worry, and the like.

So don’t trade our love at Truth in Love for simply the “tea and sympathy” of unbelieving psychiatrists and psychologists. We want to provide you with the solid answers that the Lord has provided you and I to overcome our problems in Christ.

-Mark (I like tea and I like sympathy, but I need the love of Christ in His Word of truth more!)
