  1. Matthew 5: 9 does call for us to be “makers and maintainers of peace”. The addict does not have peace in his or her soul and with that said when counseling happens we need to develop a habit of staying at peace regardless of what happens, the individual will begin to realize that we are different ( we belong to God) and we become a effective witness for Him by being at peace and demonstrating love without judgement. It really is in the presentation.

My prayer is that my light may shine before others in such a way that I will be able to glorify my Father to assist another on life’s journey to eternity. It is about pleasing god which does not create in me a mental battle. Holy Spirit work within me and others.

    Thanks, Lanny
