We are so encouraged at the growth of our ministry. The Lord is growing us more quickly right now than we are able to handle but that is a very good “problem” to have!
In terms of counseling, we are full this coming week and are now developing a waiting list. A waiting list is NOT what we want as we desire to serve people immediately when possible. In this new situation, here’s what the Lord is doing to provide people resources for us in the coming months:
1) We have two more trained biblical counselors set to volunteer some time with us. We are so thankful for the help. They will be able to give us at least 2 more slots to offer counselees.
2) Starting in mid-June, we will have one more day per week of biblical counseling offered on Thursdays. We will be counseling on Wed, Thurs, and Fridays which will help our counselees to have more options available to them.
3) In June, we will be training a group of 10 people in biblical counseling certification with NANC. Once this group is trained, they will be ready to begin counseling in a team setting with some of our more seasoned biblical counselors.
Jesus said in Matthew 9:37-38: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” This is our prayer at Truth in Love and God is already answering this prayer in some measure! Please continue to pray that He will send us more laborers and that we will all be faithful to His calling.
