One of the goals for any Christian must be to move from being a devoted disciple of Christ to becoming a devoted disciple-maker of Christ.

Many are following Christ but few are making disciples. Our commission in Matthew 28:18-20 is to make disciples of all people groups. We cannot escape it! This is our mandate. This is our calling.

My 14 year old daughter and I were discussing something recently about church attendees and she said to me matter of factly, “Daddy, the Christians in church are all disciples but not all of them are disciple-makers.” She gets it. She was trying to convince me of something I knew to be true and I love it because she understands her calling!

So who are you? Are you a disciple-maker or simply a disciple who is following Christ but not building up others to follow Christ?

-Mark (seeking to be a disciple-maker with those the Lord has called me to shepherd for His glory)
