I just read an article about a man who placed two bets on the World Series – one bet for each team! He couldn’t lose it all, but he couldn’t win it all either! To me, this is a cowardly bet.
Think about it spiritually: Are you living out your life (in a spiritual sense) like this guy? Are you betting on God but living for Satan? You cannot lose if you live a devoted life unto HIm and His glory!
Jesus wants us to be sold out to live for Him according to Matthew 16:26: “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life?” Use your life to glorify Him in your family, job, and church!
