For as long as I can remember my mother has signed every Christmas, Birthday and Special Occasion card with this verse from the book of Jeremiah. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” My mother is a Godly woman who has always lived her faith out loud in her actions. When I used to get cards and encouragement packages from Mom while I was away at College, I would often wonder why does she keep quoting the same verse? Thank God she was patient and persistent with me! Nearly 10 years after that first question, by God’s Grace, He has revealed the answer.
For years I attempted to carve out a place in my life plan for God… I would fade in and out of Church and lose touch with people who were genuinely in relationship with Him. But God…. Over the last two years God has revealed HIS Plan & Purpose. Through multiple personal failures (me doing it my way) God has remained Faithful! He has been the ROCK upon which my life now is being rebuilt. By His Grace he has given me the opportunity to serve Him fulltime with Truth in Love. I am eternally grateful! My passion has always been encouragement. Knowing this, God place a like-hearted individual in my life to partner in ministry with. Mark is one of the most humble, genuine Christians I know. Both him and his wife Mary, have had an amazing impact in my Christian walk. We are learning the power of team discipleship together! I truly know that God placed us together to accomplish (by the Power of the Holy Spirit) mighty things for the sake of the Kingdom.
God planted His Plan & Purpose in all of us! Delight yourself in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart!
