A biblical fool is someone who is a rebel and refuses to fear God. Can there be anyone worse than that? Sadly, the answer is “yes”.

Proverbs 26:12: “Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”

Are you “wise in your own eyes”? We all think we are at moments in our lives. That’s when we are in grave danger.

We must remain teachable. When we do NOT, then I really believe God allows difficulties to come into our lives often caused by us to lead us back to Him, to trust in Him alone, and to depend only upon His Wisdom.

Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Ask people for HONEST feedback. Ask them to “speak the truth in love” to you so that you can grow spiritually!
