It’s Christmas Eve and yet I cannot get over the fact that fentanyl is reportedly the #1 killer for people ages 18-45 according to the CDC. People seek their usual drug of choice only to discover too late that it was fentanyl laced—that’s what is killing more people than COVID-19, suicide, and car accidents.

Does your church leadership view addiction as a super-sized problem that only treatment and rehabilitation professionals can really help? Overdose drug deaths rose over 30% from 2017 to 2020 so I’m wondering if your church is aware of what you are called to do about it. What are you doing to combat the lie that addiction is a medical brain disease?

The current approach to addiction is NOT working.

At The Addiction Connection (TAC), we offer a vastly different approach to addiction that not only changes lives but offers eternal life through Christ. Our approach doesn’t need government-funding-supported bogus approaches to “treat” addiction. But those ideas are only propped up by mankind and are not found on the pages of the Bible. “For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” ESV (2 Cor. 4:5)

Our approach needs your prayers and financial support.

So far, in 2021, TAC has given 14% of its income to other missions and that’s not counting the discounts offered in training and commissioning. We are spreading the hope of the Gospel as far and wide as we possibly can with all hands on deck. It’s amazing to watch God work using our small team. We have been faithfully stewarding the funds you have given to accomplish God’s work and we thank you for supporting TAC in 2021.

TAC is a growing organism by God’s amazing grace.

We offer solutions for churches to offer a biblical approach to addiction that matches what the pastor preaches on Sundays. The lead pastor of a church preaching biblical truth can now embrace an approach to reaching the addicted with the same hope of the Gospel!

Support The Addiction Connection.

We need help. I love working with my family in the ministry of TAC but in order for TAC to grow, we need to hire a full-time person to help me to lead this ministry in order to reach more pastors and more churches. We have the answer for addiction and lives are being transformed, counselors being equipped and encouraged. We are defeating the enemy.
As the year ends, know that your gifts to TAC enable the ministry to grow and to help addicts and their families, and by coming alongside the local church and ministry leaders to faithfully proclaim God’s answer for the addicted heart. That is no insignificant matter as we battle the #1 killer of those ages 18-45. Link arms with us today!
Merry Christmas,
Mark
