The Holy Spirit. Any biblical counselor who is worth his/her salt knows that only God can change the heart of mankind. Biblical counselors are merely “water fountains” and the “Water” that springs forth through the biblical counselor is the Holy Spirit Who works in conjunction with the truths of God’s Word. The Holy Spirit provides the power that the counselee needs to change! Change is possible only by the power of the Holy Spirit Who “partners” with the Word of Truth found in the pages of the Bible.
